Which billionaire is the richest in terms of money they could spend (liquid)?

Which billionaire is the richest in terms of money they could spend (liquid)? by @Holborn_Assets

Answer by Robert Parker:

What do you mean by liquid? Are you about cash? The money in a bank account are also liquid even if digital.

Who says a billionaire needs cash to buy something? Even the average persons buy almost everything from Amazon, eBay, and other online shops. You can buy clothes, watches, cars, houses, yachts, and everything you want, by simply making transfers from your account.

And guess what – the richest billionaires in terms of money they could spend are those who have the most billions. Sounds fair, right?

If you doubt that Gates can go to a shop and buy something for $20 billion, then who else can do it and what is so different about him? Of course you will consider the richest person in the world in the first instance. They can make their funds as liquid as they want. Of course you cannot make the whole wealth liquid, but who needs it? You can waste your funds in this way – sometimes the currencies are dropping, sometimes the rats can eat your cash.

“Pablo was earning so much that each year we would write off 10% of the money because the rats would eat it in storage or it would be damaged by water or lost”
Legendary drug lord Pablo Escobar lost $2.1 billion in cash each year — and it didn’t matter

Anyway. The richest persons can buy more – this is quite natural.

I hope this helps!
