Blockchain is just like a piggy bank, but instead of having one person to check your piggy bank, you have 100,000 people that check your piggy bank. As long as the majority of people say that your piggy is legitimate, then it is legitimate and no one can do anything about it.
No one can steal your piggy bank, keep it from you or make any conditions before you can have your piggy bank. Well, they could, but they would need to convince half the world to do it. :)
